Step Down 6 Click is a compact add-on board that converts higher voltages into lower ones. This board features the MPM54304, a quad-output power module from Monolithic Power Systems (MPS). It is a quad-output, DC/DC step-down power module with up to 3A per output on channels 1 and 2 and up to 2A per channels 3 and 4, providing continuous current on all four channels.
We provide a library for the Step Down 6 Click as well as a demo application (example), developed using MikroElektronika compilers. The demo can run on all the main MikroElektronika development boards.
Package can be downloaded/installed directly from NECTO Studio Package Manager(recommended way), downloaded from our LibStock™ or found on Mikroe github account.
This library contains API for Step Down 6 Click driver.

Step Down 6 Set output voltage function. This library contains API for the Step Down 6 Click driver.
This driver provides the functions to set the output voltage threshold.
The demo application is composed of two sections :
Initialization of I2C module and log UART.
After driver initialization, default settings sets output voltage to 550 mV.
This example demonstrates the use of the Step Down 6 Click boardâ„¢ by changing
output voltage every 5 seconds starting from 550 mV up to 1820 mV.
The full application code, and ready to use projects can be installed directly from NECTO Studio Package Manager(recommended way), downloaded from our LibStock™ or found on Mikroe github account.

Additional notes and informations
Depending on the development board you are using, you may need USB UART Click, USB UART 2 Click or RS232 Click to connect to your PC, for development systems with no UART to USB interface available on the board. UART terminal is available in all MikroElektronika compilers.
