Library Description

The library contains basic functions for working with Clock Generator 3 click.

Key functions:

  • void clockgen3_set_freq( float freq ) - Sets Frequency
  • void clockgen3_config( uint8_t cfg ) - Configuration

Examples description

The application is composed of three sections :

  • System Initialization - Initializes I2C module and set GS pin as OUTPUT
  • Application Initialization - Initializes driver init and configuration Clock Generator click
  • Application Task - Adjusts different frequencies every 3000ms.
void application_task ( )
{
    mikrobus_logWrite( ">> Set Freq = 12.000 MHz", _LOG_LINE );
    clockgen3_set_freq( 12000.0 );
    Delay_ms( 3000 );
    mikrobus_logWrite( ">> Set Freq = 8.000 MHz", _LOG_LINE );
    clockgen3_set_freq( 8000.0 );
    Delay_ms( 3000 );
    mikrobus_logWrite( ">> Set Freq = 5.500 MHz", _LOG_LINE );
    clockgen3_set_freq( 5500.0 );
    Delay_ms( 3000 );
    mikrobus_logWrite( ">> Set Freq = 2.700 MHz", _LOG_LINE );
    clockgen3_set_freq( 2700.0 );
    Delay_ms( 3000 );
    mikrobus_logWrite( ">> Set Freq = 800 KHz", _LOG_LINE );
    clockgen3_set_freq( 800.0 );
    Delay_ms( 3000 );
    mikrobus_logWrite( ">> Set Freq = 200 KHz", _LOG_LINE );
    clockgen3_set_freq( 200.0 );
    Delay_ms( 3000 );
    mikrobus_logWrite( "----------------------------", _LOG_LINE );
}

Additional notes and informations

Depending on the development board you are using, you may need USB UART clickUSB UART 2 click or RS232 click to connect to your PC, for development systems with no UART to USB interface available on the board. The terminal available in all MikroElektronika compilers, or any other terminal application of your choice, can be used to read the message.

Thermo 3 click carries TMP102, a digital temperature sensor IC with a tiny footprint of only 1.6mm x 1.6mm. The click is designed to run on a 3.3V power supply only. It communicates with the target MCU through mikroBUS I2C pins (SCL, SDA), and an additional Alert pint (INT on the default mikroBUS configuration).

Diff Press 3 Click is a compact add-on board that can measure differential pressure. It features the 2513130810401, a WSEN-PDUS differential pressure sensor from Würth Elektronik. The sensor is MEMS based and uses a piezo-resistive sensing principle. It is a fully calibrated pressure sensor with 15-bit digital and 11-bit analog outputs. In addition to pressure measurement, the 2513130810401 WSEN-PDUS sensor also has an embedded temperature sensor.

SQI FLASH Click is based on the SST26VF064B, a 64 Mbit Serial Quad I/O flash device from Microchip. The chip utilizes 4-bit multiplexed I/O serial interface to boost the performance. The Click is a very fast solid-state, non-volatile data storage medium, that can be electrically erased and reprogrammed.
