An oldtimer electronics plus computer enthusiast, and later pro. After going on retirement decided to design the wildest gadgets I have ever dreamt of by designing the ones to make my life easy in and around the house. Did some using the PCs and SBCs. But than discovered the world of microprocessors which were different then the ones I met while still young and active. But I hated these due to their cumbersome and a lot of external component needeing nature and kept myself away. The new ones seemed simple to design with and I got in love with them. Polished my programming language skills and got into the world of PICs and AVRs. After taking a long tine to pass the crossroad between the families decided to go with PIC. Got my EasyPIC6 with some add-on boards to have a lavish start and there I am stuck for the last one year. Is it because of a writer's block or is it due to the resistance of the EasyPIC6 to program my favorite 16F62X chips I don't know yet. Time will tell.
