Semiconductor memory device engineer by day (Phase Change Memory), Microcontroller designer by night. Obsessed with Physics, Astronomy, Microcontrollers and all electronics. Love to travel, swim, read, bike and of course play and have fun with my family. Favorite foods, coffee & chocolate - could survive on these two alone iif necessary. Hate sleep - ALWAYS have and ALWAYS will. I'm always half way into 7 books of COMPLETELY different topics, from Solid State Physics to Sherlock Holmes to Victor Hugo novels, to books on the building of the Panama Canal and Philosophy (even some of that Plato stuff - though Ayn Rand is much more to my style). Feynman is my hero, though I admit, I have MANY physics heroes, who I would likely dis-like as men. Favorite past-time is coffee with my wife and walks with my kids. I love swimming and get the same feeling around water as I did when I was 9 - PURE EXCITEMENT and whine and complain when I have to get out ;). I could discuss politics & philosophy all night long. Love birds and most other animals.

Favorite place in the world...a small island off the coast of Taiwan called Green Island...Second, a small island in Canada at a place called McGregor Bay. My very best friend in the world is my wife, followed by my brother and sister,though many others mean more than I can express. In life, I've been super lucky to be surrounded by some extraordinary people, from Bill Cowles (one of my very best friends in the world, before he died of old age at 83) to countless others, each who touched my life in a small but very special way along the road of life. These people have shown me that the outcomes of our lives depend on the efforts, focus & balance that we put into it. I'm not yet the man I want to be, but I know the man I want to become....
