I'm an electronics technician, with 25 years of expeience in electronics, specialiced on discrete TTL and CMOS circuits.
I own a repair shop for all kind of electronic devices, (TV, DVD, PC, MAC, etc).
I wanted to learn how to use PICs beacause many years ago the discrete world of TTL and CMOS become outdated and obsolete, (as a mainstream technology).
I have 5 years of experience working with Basic for PIC16, but I want to push the barrier and learn C.
I used to work with the Proton Compiler, but, one of mi friends at school recomed the Mikroe softwae and I'm learning to use it.
I use the free software beacause the license is way to expensive for me. But I think 2k of code will be enough to learn the basics.
