I have successfully combined my woodworking and electronics skills in making custom units. I have been replacing the incandescent ceiling lamps in our closets and common spaces with ganged 10W LED's and while it have improved the color perception (I'm using warm white LEDs (2700-3000K), the light level has improved (4 10W LEDS provide much better light than 2 60W incnadescents), and, the heat avoided by using LEDs has reduced out coolomg bill a bit. |
