Water Flow Meter using PIC

A rotor inside the flow sensor rotates proportional to the quantity of water passing through it. for each rotation of the rotor a pulse is produced. Number of pulses for each second is calculated (i.e) frequency. the flow rate (L/min) can be obtained by dividing the frequency by 7.5.

This is a Proteus 8 Simulation for Interfacing PIC MCU with Flow sensor. Please Note that the output of Flow sensor will be pulses. As we cannot find a Proteus Library for Flow sensor, we replaced that with a Pulse Source of some Frequency. If you can design a sweep generator circuit for Flow sensor output, it will be very nice.
