This is a library example for PCF8574T-based serial LCD modules manufactured by several Chinese companies like DFrobot, Sainsmart, Elecfreaks, etc. These I2C LCD modules are cheap, saves lot of I/Os and make LCD integration feasible for small MCUs like ATTiny45 and PIC12F675.
