This project demos a custom MODBUS RTU slave with an AVR. It has 4 coils, 4 discrete inputs, 2 input registers that store temperature data in degree Celsius and Kelvin from a DS18B20 temperature sensor and two holding registers that behave like scratchpad locations.

This is a demo of DHT11 relative humidity-temperature sensor using interrupt and timer of a ATMega8515L. Interrupt + timer based method don't block program sequence unlike polling methods and so the CPU can do other tasks. Falling edge interrupt is used to detect the output from the sensor and a timer detects pulse widths.
