Project Blog

This update fixes several issues.

Indoor mode does not appear to work even with the development board.

Tuned to a few steps below outdoor to get it to register on the dev board.

The LCO is now measured and tuned at power up to get as close to 500Khz as possibe.

I modified the board sensor behaviour as it defaults to approaching proximity rather than actual computed distance.

This means that all stikes after 1 at say 10k will all read 10K unless they are closer.

Get one at 2k and the rest will all say 2 k even when moving away.

So i clear the stats after a valid read to let it measure the proper distance again, this way you can have a strike at 5 k and then one at 15k then 1 at 2k then one at 6k for example.

The AFC is a bit of a mystery. Set to indoor mode the board wont detect lightning or the development test board that simulates strikes. tuned it for 2 steps below outdoor mode and it now seems happy. (Manufacturing issues maybee?)
