Library Description

The library covers all the necessary functions of Tamper Click board.
Tamper click communicates with the target board through the INT line.
This library detect the state of switch on Tamper click, which is normally open.

Key functions:

  • uint8_t tamperState() - Function showes the state of the switch.

Examples description

The application is composed of the three sections :

  • System Initialization - Initializes GPIO and LOG structures, sets INT pin as input.
  • Application Initialization - Initialization driver enables GPIO and also starts write log.
  • Application Task - (code snippet) This is an example which demonstrates the use of Tamper click board. It detects whether the state of switch on Tamper click is changes to open or to closed.
    Results are being sent to the Usart Terminal where you can keep track of their changes.
void applicationTask()
{
    switchState = tamperState();

    if ( switchState == 1 && switchStateOld == 0 )
    {
        mikrobus_logWrite( " Closed ", _LOG_LINE );
        mikrobus_logWrite( "- - - - - - - - -", _LOG_LINE );
        switchStateOld = 1;
    }

    if ( switchState == 0 && switchStateOld == 1 )
    {
        mikrobus_logWrite( " Open ", _LOG_LINE );
        mikrobus_logWrite( "- - - - - - - - -", _LOG_LINE );
        switchStateOld = 0;
    }
}

Other mikroE Libraries used in the example:

  • GPIO
  • UART

Additional notes and information

Depending on the development board you are using, you may need USB UART clickUSB UART 2 click or RS232 click to connect to your PC, for development systems with no UART to USB interface available on the board. The terminal available in all MikroElektronika compilers, or any other terminal application of your choice, can be used to read the message.

Hall Current 3 click

0

Hall current 3 click is a very accurate current measurement Click board™, which utilizes the Hall effect to provide a precise and reliable measurement of reasonably high current. Its most distinctive feature is a very low series resistance of only 0.7mΩ, making this device a nearly-perfect ammeter.

RF Meter click

1

RF Meter click is a radio frequency power measurement device covering a frequency span from 1 MHz to 8 GHz over a 60 dB range. An external antenna acquires the signal, which is then processed by the AD8318 logarithmic detector. For communicating with the target board MCU, the mikroBUS SPI interface is used with additional TEMP OUT pin.
