Library Description

The library is composed of driver and API layers both available from user space. Lower driver layer carries generic AT command parser, API layer carries simplified user-friendly function calls.

Key functions

api_anynet3g_queryICCID- Provides ICC ID necessary for registration

api_anynet3g_checkStateAWS- Returns current state of the module

api_anynet3g_openTopicAWS- Opens Topic

Examples descriptions

The example shows how to properly initialize module and use API function calls. All information from the module is logged using UART so two UART modules are necessary for the example. In case that your system has only one UART module, Software UART is also usable for data logging. Also, it is necessary to have an account on Amazon for successful testing.

 // MODULE INIT
    anynet3g_cmdSingle( "AT" );
    api_anynet3g_firmwareID();
    api_anynet3g_queryICCID();

    api_anynet3g_checkStateAWS( _ANYNET3G_GET );

// OPEN TOPIC 0 AND PUBLISH
    api_anynet3g_openTopicAWS( _ANYNET3G_SET, &_MY_TOPIC[0] );
    api_anynet3g_publishTopicAWS( _ANYNET3G_SET, &_MIKROE[0] );

Other mikroE Libraries used in the example:

  • UART
  • Conversions
  • C_String

Additional notes and information

Depending on the development board you are using, you may need USB UART clickUSB UART 2 click or RS232 click to connect to your PC, for development systems with no UART to USB interface available on the board. The terminal available in all Mikroelektronika compilers, or any other terminal application of your choice, can be used to read the message.

NanoBeacon Click

0

NanoBeacon Click is a compact add-on board that provides a powerful and efficient Bluetooth beacon solution. This board features the IN100, an ultra-low power Bluetooth 5.3 Beacon SoC from InPlay, that sets a new standard in beacon technology. Its ultra-low power consumption, enhanced privacy mode, and three beacon modes offer seamless compatibility with no Bluetooth programming required - plug and play. Its compact design houses two types of built-in memory (4Kb OTP and 4KB SRAM), UART and I2C interfaces, and a hardware security engine.

Expand 3 Click

0

Expand 3 Click is a compact add-on board providing general-purpose I/O expansion. This board features the DS2408, an 8-channel programmable I/O expander from Analog Devices. The DS2408 has a factory-lasered 64-bit registration number, enabling multiple Expand 3 Click boards™ to be connected on the same data line, communicating with the host MCU through a standard Dallas Semiconductor 1-Wire interface (15.3kbps or 100kbps). PIO outputs are configured as open-drain and provide a maximum on-resistance of 100Ω.

10DOF click

4

10DOF click board carries two modules from Bosch: BNO055, a 9-axis absolute orientation sensor and BMP180, a digital pressure sensor. 10DOF click communicates with the target board MCU through the mikroBUS I2C interface (SCL, SDA), with additional functionality provided by INT and RST pins. Designed to use a 3.3V power supply only.
