Library Description

The library initializes and defines the I2C bus driver and drivers that offer a choice for reads data form register. The library includes function for read Temperature and Relative Huminidy data and function for read device ID, Manifactures ID and Serial ID data. The user also has the function for configuration chip for measurement.

Key functions:

  • void temphum11_configuration(uint16_t config) - Functions for configuration device for measurement.
  • float temphum11_getTemperature(uint8_t tempIn) - Functions for read Temperature data.
  • float temphum11_getHumidity() - Functions for read Relative Huminidy data.

Examples description

The application is composed of the three sections :

  • System Initialization - Initialization I2C module.
  • Application Initialization - Initializes driver init, test comunication and configuration chip for measurement.
  • Application Task - Reads Temperature and Humidity data. This data logs to USBUART every 1500ms.
void applicationTask()
{
    float Temperature;
    float Humidity;
    char demoText[ 50 ];

    Temperature = temphum11_getTemperature(_TEMPHUM11_TEMP_IN_CELSIUS);

    FloatToStr(Temperature, demoText);
    mikrobus_logWrite(" Temperature : ", _LOG_TEXT);
    mikrobus_logWrite(demoText, _LOG_LINE);

    Humidity = temphum11_getHumidity();

    FloatToStr(Humidity, demoText);
    mikrobus_logWrite(" Humidity : ", _LOG_TEXT);
    mikrobus_logWrite(demoText, _LOG_LINE);

    mikrobus_logWrite("-----------------", _LOG_LINE);
    Delay_ms( 1500 );
}

Other mikroE Libraries used in the example:

  • I2C
  • UART
  • Conversions

Additional notes and informations

Depending on the development board you are using, you may need USB UART clickUSB UART 2 click or RS232 click to connect to your PC, for development systems with no UART to USB interface available on the board. The terminal available in all MikroElektronika compilers, or any other terminal application of your choice, can be used to read the message.

H-Bridge 2 click can be used to drive a motor by utilizing a specific configuration of the output stage MOSFETs, known as the H-bridge. This configuration enables H-Bridge 2 click to drive a motor with up to 1.2A and 15V, providing control of the speed and direction, as well as the dynamic (rheostatic) braking capability.

UT-S 7-SEG B 2 Click is a compact add-on board that presents an easy solution for adding a numeric or hexadecimal display to your application. This board features the TLC5947, a constant-current sink LED driver from Texas Instruments, alongside six ultra-thin blue single-digit numeric displays, the JSS-3011BUB-21. The displays are small in size (0.39 inches in height) and can display letters, numbers, and symbols in a highly readable form. The host MCU can control the light intensity of the blue segments of the display.
