QMC5883 is a Chinese alternative of Honeywell's proven HMC5883 digital compass. Though the digital compasses have similar nomenclature, they are different in terms of I2C address and register setup. This example demonstrates QMC5883 digital compass using a PIC16F877A microcontroller. The code is written with CCS PIC C compiler.
