I have made a Tractor Odometer for working out how much area or distance has been covered in a paddock or contracting job.
The unit just needs a contact closure for every wheel revolution and the rest is done in software via an interrupt.

I have made a Tractor Odometer for working out how much area or distance has been covered in a paddock or contracting job.
The unit just needs a contact closure for every wheel revolution and the rest is done in software via an interrupt.
Feel free to improve and re-post as it could be greatly enhanced. my next step is to work out how to ad pop up numeric keypad to enter wheel and width data.
Then I am going to ad GPS using the new Navspark module (Centimeter accuracy for ~ $20)
