E-Paper 1.54" display

The E-Paper 1.54" display is based on Active Matrix Electrophoretic Display (AMEPD) technology and has an integrated pixel driver, which uses the SPI interface to communicate with the host MCU. The display itself has 24pin flat printed cable, used to connect to the host controller. A perfect solution for easy connection is offered in a form of a Click board™. The eINK click offers a high-quality ZIF FFC/FPC connector for a simple connection with the E-Paper display. Besides the easy connection, it offers a temperature sensor (LM75) required for thermal compensation of the display, so it can be operated in a wide temperature range. This sensor uses I2C interface to communicate directly with the E-Paper 1.54" display integrated driver IC.

The E-Paper 1.54" display has resolution of 200(V) X 200(H) pixels and an active display area of 27.6 X 27.6. The size of its square shaped pixels is 0.138mm x 0.138mm. The screen displays a clear and crisp graphics, and has an ultra-wide viewing range, thanks to the used technology. Another key feature of the E-Ink technology is the extremely low power consumption, even when the display actively refresh its content.

Motion 4 Click is a long distance PaPIR's motion sensor with plastic lense and controllable output. This Click board features EKMC1603111, a PIR motion sensor from Panasonic Corporation which can be used as human motion detector and is able to detect movement up to 12m with 170uA current consumption. Also featured on Motion 4 Click bord is TLP241A photorelay from Toshiba that is used to provide a reinforced galvanic isolation for the external signals used to drive some external high power electronic equipment when motion is detected. It's allowing up to 40V between the SSR contacts in OFF state, and currents up to 2A while in ON state, thanks to a very low ON-state resistance. Motion 4 Click board™ is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.
