Library Description

The library performs the input state checking and the output state setting. For more details check documentation.

Key functions:

  • T_OPTO3_STATE opto3_getIN1( void ) - Function returns a state of the Input 1.
  • void opto3_setOUT2( T_OPTO3_SWITCH state ) - Function puts the Output 2 to the desired state.

Examples description

The application is composed of the three sections :

  • System Initialization - Initializes peripherals and pins.
  • Application Initialization - Initializes GPIO interface.
  • Application Task - (code snippet) - Switches ON or switches OFF the both outputs depending on the states of the inputs, respectively. Note : Input state is active low, and output state is active high.
void applicationTask()
{
    stateIN1 = opto3_getIN1();
    stateIN2 = opto3_getIN2();

    stateOUT1 = stateIN1 ^ 1;
    stateOUT2 = stateIN2 ^ 1;

    opto3_setOUT1( stateOUT1 );
    opto3_setOUT2( stateOUT2 );
}

Additional notes and informations

Depending on the development board you are using, you may need USB UART clickUSB UART 2 clickor RS232 click to connect to your PC, for development systems with no UART to USB interface available on the board. The terminal available in all MikroElektronika compilers, or any other terminal application of your choice, can be used to read the message.

eFuse Click

Fuse Click is a compact add-on board that contains a programmable electronic power breaker. This board features the STPW12, an integrated electronic power breaker optimized to monitor the input power from STMicroelectronics. Connected in series to the power rail, it can disconnect the electronic circuitry on its output if the power consumption overcomes the programmed limit. The intervention of the protection is communicated to the MCU through a signal on the fault pin. The device can also be enabled/disabled through a dedicated Enable pin with a direct PWM mode, which can be achieved through an external PWM signal.

Heart Rate 11 Click

0

Heart Rate 11 Click is a compact add-on board suitable for heart rate monitoring applications. This board features the OB1203, a multi-channel light sensor (LS/CS), a proximity sensor (PS), and a photoplethysmography sensor (PPG) from Renesas. It can be configured as an ambient light sensor to measure ambient light similar to the human eye experience or as an RGB color sensor. The OB1203 establishes communication to and from the module entirely through a standard I2C compatible interface and has a fully integrated biosensor for reflective photoplethysmography.
