The most popular topic with which we all start the day is the weather.
You can measure temperature, humidity, ambient lighting and UV and IR indexes in real time, easily, with our Weather Station Kit.
Access this data remotely by adding our G2C click–a reliable connection to the Click Cloud platform, a cloud-based rapid prototyping environment.

Project Description

With this project you can create your very own personalized weather station that can be implemented in your home, a greenhouse or in any other industrial control unit which depends on weather conditions.

This showcase was developed using several Mikroe Click boards: the Temp-Hum 8 click, the Ambient 6 click, the UV 4 click and the RTC 7 click. Everything is displayed on our TFT 5" board and the whole project is hosted on our state-of-the-art Fusion for ARM v8 development board.

The temperature is measured with our Temp-Hum 8 click, which can also be used for other weather related applications such as thermostats and microenvironment centers, while the ambient illumination data is gathered with our Ambient 6 click, which is ideal for various applications that rely on light intensity sensing.

The UV 4 click measures data regarding the UV and IR indexes which is proving to be extremely important these days. The UV Index is standardized by the World Health Organization and it represents the strength of sunburn-producing (UV) radiation, so it is very important to keep the information updated.

The RTC 7 click measures the exact real time in which a weather change has occured. This is very important because you can actually know what causes changes and exactly when they happen in order to receive even more information regarding the project. Because of the RTC 7 click, the data will be checked every second and the results will be updated on every weather change.

To make sure all of the gathered information is safely stored and can be accessed remotely, you can add our G2C (Go to Cloud) click - a simple and reliable connection to the Click Cloud platform, a cloud-based rapid prototyping environment, where you can monitor the data remotely.

Brushless 24 Click

0

Brushless 24 Click is a compact add-on board that controls brushless DC (BLDC) motors with any MCU. This board features the DRV10866, a 3- phase sensorless motor driver from Texas Instruments with integrated power MOSFETs with current drive capability up to 800mA peak. The DRV10866 implements a 150° commutation (sensorless BEMF control scheme) for a 3-phase motor alongside a synchronous rectification mode of operation that achieves increased efficiency for motor driver applications. Besides choosing the motor speed and a wide operating voltage range of up to 5V, it also has several built-in protection circuits, such as undervoltage, lock detection, voltage surge protection, and overtemperature.

Accel 19 Click

0

Accel 19 Click is a compact add-on board that contains an acceleration sensor. This board features the LIS2DTW12, an ultra-low-power high-performance three-axis accelerometer from STMicroelectronics. It allows selectable full-scale acceleration measurements in ranges of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g, or ±16g in three axes with a configurable host interface that supports both SPI and I2C serial communication. Alongside an embedded 0.8°C accuracy temperature sensor with ODRs ranging from 50 to 1.6Hz and resolution from 8 to 12 bits, it has a dedicated internal engine to process motion and acceleration detection.
