The most popular topic with which we all start the day is the weather.
You can measure temperature, humidity, ambient lighting and UV and IR indexes in real time, easily, with our Weather Station Kit.
Access this data remotely by adding our G2C click–a reliable connection to the Click Cloud platform, a cloud-based rapid prototyping environment.

Project Description

With this project you can create your very own personalized weather station that can be implemented in your home, a greenhouse or in any other industrial control unit which depends on weather conditions.

This showcase was developed using several Mikroe Click boards: the Temp-Hum 8 click, the Ambient 6 click, the UV 4 click and the RTC 7 click. Everything is displayed on our TFT 5" board and the whole project is hosted on our state-of-the-art Fusion for ARM v8 development board.

The temperature is measured with our Temp-Hum 8 click, which can also be used for other weather related applications such as thermostats and microenvironment centers, while the ambient illumination data is gathered with our Ambient 6 click, which is ideal for various applications that rely on light intensity sensing.

The UV 4 click measures data regarding the UV and IR indexes which is proving to be extremely important these days. The UV Index is standardized by the World Health Organization and it represents the strength of sunburn-producing (UV) radiation, so it is very important to keep the information updated.

The RTC 7 click measures the exact real time in which a weather change has occured. This is very important because you can actually know what causes changes and exactly when they happen in order to receive even more information regarding the project. Because of the RTC 7 click, the data will be checked every second and the results will be updated on every weather change.

To make sure all of the gathered information is safely stored and can be accessed remotely, you can add our G2C (Go to Cloud) click - a simple and reliable connection to the Click Cloud platform, a cloud-based rapid prototyping environment, where you can monitor the data remotely.

Hall Current 10 Click

0

Hall Current 10 Click is a compact add-on board that provides economical and precise AC or DC current sensing solutions. This board features the ACHS-7194, a fully integrated Hall-effect-based isolated linear current sensor designed for the current range of ±40A from Broadcom Limited. Inside ACHS-7194 is a precise, low-offset, linear Hall circuit with a copper conduction path located near the surface of the die. Applied current flowing through this copper conduction path generates a magnetic field that the differential Hall sensors convert into a proportional voltage, where after that, the user is given the option to process the output voltage as an analog or digital value. This Click board™ is suitable for AC or DC current-sensing in industrial, commercial, and communications systems.

Altitude 2 Click is a high-resolution barometric pressure sensor Click board™. It provides very accurate measurements of temperature and atmospheric pressure, which can be used to calculate the altitude with a very high resolution of 20cm per step. Besides that, the device also includes features such as the ultra-low noise delta-sigma 24bit ADC, low power consumption, fast conversion times, pre-programmed unique compensation values, and more.
