Library Description

The library contains basic functions for working with the H-Bridge 7 click.

Key functions:

  • void hbridge7_motor_state ( uint8_t state ) - Set motor state
  • void hbridge7_motor_control ( uint8_t ctrl ) - Set motor control
  • uint8_t hbridge7_get_fault_state ( void ) - Get Fault pin state

Examples description

The application is composed of three sections :

  • System Initialization - Initializes all necessary gpio pins for motor control.
  • Application Initialization - Initializes driver init and activates the motor.
  • Application Task - Changes the direction of the motor.
void application_task ( )
{
    hbridge7_motor_control( HBRIDGE7_MOTOR_FORWARD );
    Delay_ms( 3000 );
    hbridge7_motor_control( HBRIDGE7_MOTOR_BACKWARD );
    Delay_ms( 3000 );
    hbridge7_motor_control( HBRIDGE7_MOTOR_STOP );
    Delay_ms( 3000 );
}

Other mikroE Libraries used in the example:

  • GPIO

Additional notes and informations

Depending on the development board you are using, you may need USB UART clickUSB UART 2 click or RS232 click to connect to your PC, for development systems with no UART to USB interface available on the board. The terminal available in all MikroElektronika compilers, or any other terminal application of your choice, can be used to read the message.

RTC 20 Click is a compact add-on board that measures the passage of real-time. This board features the AB0805, an I2C-configurable real-time clock with a highly sophisticated feature set from Abracon LLC. The AB0805 provides information like seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years, and dates based on a 32.768kHz quartz crystal through an I2C serial interface to transmit time and calendar data to the MCU. It also has automatic leap year compensation, low power consumption, and full RTC functions such as battery backup, programmable counters, and alarms for timer and watchdog functions.
