Library Description

The library contains basic functions for working with Clock Generator 3 click.

Key functions:

  • void clockgen3_set_freq( float freq ) - Sets Frequency
  • void clockgen3_config( uint8_t cfg ) - Configuration

Examples description

The application is composed of three sections :

  • System Initialization - Initializes I2C module and set GS pin as OUTPUT
  • Application Initialization - Initializes driver init and configuration Clock Generator click
  • Application Task - Adjusts different frequencies every 3000ms.
void application_task ( )
{
    mikrobus_logWrite( ">> Set Freq = 12.000 MHz", _LOG_LINE );
    clockgen3_set_freq( 12000.0 );
    Delay_ms( 3000 );
    mikrobus_logWrite( ">> Set Freq = 8.000 MHz", _LOG_LINE );
    clockgen3_set_freq( 8000.0 );
    Delay_ms( 3000 );
    mikrobus_logWrite( ">> Set Freq = 5.500 MHz", _LOG_LINE );
    clockgen3_set_freq( 5500.0 );
    Delay_ms( 3000 );
    mikrobus_logWrite( ">> Set Freq = 2.700 MHz", _LOG_LINE );
    clockgen3_set_freq( 2700.0 );
    Delay_ms( 3000 );
    mikrobus_logWrite( ">> Set Freq = 800 KHz", _LOG_LINE );
    clockgen3_set_freq( 800.0 );
    Delay_ms( 3000 );
    mikrobus_logWrite( ">> Set Freq = 200 KHz", _LOG_LINE );
    clockgen3_set_freq( 200.0 );
    Delay_ms( 3000 );
    mikrobus_logWrite( "----------------------------", _LOG_LINE );
}

Additional notes and informations

Depending on the development board you are using, you may need USB UART clickUSB UART 2 click or RS232 click to connect to your PC, for development systems with no UART to USB interface available on the board. The terminal available in all MikroElektronika compilers, or any other terminal application of your choice, can be used to read the message.

7x10 Y click

0

7x10 Y click is a LED dot matrix display click, which can be used to display graphics or letters in a very simple and easy way. The click board has two LED dot matrix modules with 7x5 stylish, round, dot-like LED elements. These displays produce clean and uniform patterns since the elements are optically isolated from each other and there is no light bleeding between the adjacent LED cells. Additionally, turn-on and turn-off times of the matrix cells are optimized for a clean and fluid display performance, with no flickering or lag.

Accel 27 Click is a compact add-on board that contains an acceleration sensor. This board features the ADXL373, a three-axis MEMS ±400g accelerometer from Analog Devices. In addition to its ultra-low power consumption, the ADXL373 enables impact detection while providing system-level power reduction. It offers 12-bit output data at 200mg/LSB scale factor with a configurable host interface that supports SPI and I2C serial communication.

ROTARY Y click

0

Rotary click carries a 15-pulse incremental rotary encoder with detents, surrounded by a ring of 16 yellow LEDs. It’s a perfect solution for adding a precision input knob to your design. The encoder outputs A and B signals (out of phase to each other); the knob also acts as a push-button which sends an interrupt to the target board MCU. The LED ring is controlled through SPI lines (CS, SCK, MISO, MOSI). Rotary click can be used with either a 3.3V or 5V power supply.
