Library Description

The library contains basic PVM LED control functions.

Key functions:

  • uint32_t uvclight_pwmInit(uint16_t freq) - PWM init functions
  • void uvclight_pwmSetDuty(uint16_t duty) - PWM set duty cycle

Examples description

The application is composed of three sections :

  • Application Initialization - Initialize PWM module and sets frequency
  • Application Task - Increases and decreases the pwm duty cycle.
void application_task ( )
{
    int32_t duty_cycle;

    for ( duty_cycle = 0; duty_cycle < pwm_max_duty; duty_cycle+= pwm_degree )
    {
        uvclight_pwm_set_duty( duty_cycle );
        Delay_ms( 10 );
    }
    Delay_ms( 500 );
    for ( duty_cycle = pwm_max_duty; duty_cycle >= 0; duty_cycle-= pwm_degree )
    {
        uvclight_pwm_set_duty( duty_cycle );
        Delay_ms( 10 );
    }
    Delay_ms( 500 );
}

Additional notes and informations

Depending on the development board you are using, you may need USB UART clickUSB UART 2 click or RS232 click to connect to your PC, for development systems with no UART to USB interface available on the board. The terminal available in all MikroElektronika compilers, or any other terminal application of your choice, can be used to read the message.
