Library Description

The library covers all the necessary functions to control BT Audio Click board.

Key functions:

  • void btaudio_uartWrite( uint8_t *txData ) - UART write data function.
  • BTAUDIO_STATUS_T btaudio_increaseVolume() - Increase volume function.
  • BTAUDIO_STATUS_T btaudio_nextTrack() - Play next track function.

Examples description

The application is composed of the three sections :

  • System Initialization - Initializes UART and LOG structures sets INT pin as input and RST, CS and PWM pins as output enable interrupts routine and start to write log.
  • Application Initialization - Initialization driver enables - UART, sets Power On, set command mode, set data mode, factory reset, also write log.
  • Application Task - This is an example which demonstrates the use of BT Audio click board. Waits for valid user input and executes functions based on a set of valid commands. Results are being sent to the Usart Terminal where you can track their changes.
  • Commands :
    '+' - volume up
    '-' - volume down
    '>' - next track
    '<' - previous track
    '*' - play/pause track
void applicationTask()
{
    char receivedData;

    if ( UART_Rdy_Ptr() )
    {
        receivedData = UART_Rd_Ptr();

        switch ( receivedData )
        {
            case '+' :
            {
                btaudio_increaseVolume();
                mikrobus_logWrite( "    - Volume Up -", _LOG_LINE );
                break;
            }
            case '-' :
            {
                btaudio_decreaseVolume();
                mikrobus_logWrite( "   - Volume Down -", _LOG_LINE );
                break;
            }
            case '>' :
            {
                btaudio_nextTrack();
                mikrobus_logWrite( "--------------------", _LOG_LINE );
                mikrobus_logWrite( "     Next Track     ", _LOG_LINE );
                mikrobus_logWrite( "--------------------", _LOG_LINE );
                break;
            }
            case '<' :
            {
                btaudio_previousTrack();
                mikrobus_logWrite( "--------------------", _LOG_LINE );
                mikrobus_logWrite( "   Previous Track   ", _LOG_LINE );
                mikrobus_logWrite( "--------------------", _LOG_LINE );
                break;
            }
            case '*' :
            {
                btaudio_pausePlayTrack();
                mikrobus_logWrite( "--------------------", _LOG_LINE );
                mikrobus_logWrite( "  Play/Pause Track  ", _LOG_LINE );
                mikrobus_logWrite( "--------------------", _LOG_LINE );
                break;
            }

Additional notes and informations

Depending on the development board you are using, you may need USB UART clickUSB UART 2 click or RS232 click to connect to your PC, for development systems with no UART to USB interface available on the board. The terminal available in all MikroElektronika compilers, or any other terminal application of your choice, can be used to read the message.

Bluetooth 2 Click features WT41u, a long range class 1, Bluetooth® 2.1 + EDR module. WT41u is a highly integrated and sophisticated Bluetooth® module, containing all the necessary elements from Bluetooth® radio and a fully implemented protocol stack. Therefore WT41u provides an ideal solution for developers who want to integrate Bluetooth® wireless technology into their design with limited knowledge of Bluetooth® and RF technologies. WT41u optimized for long range applications is available with an integrated chip antenna. By default, the WT41u module is equipped with powerful and easy-to-use iWRAP firmware which enables users to access Bluetooth® functionality with simple ASCII commands delivered to the module over serial interface - it's just like a Bluetooth® modem.

3D Hall 10 Click

0

3D Hall 10 Click is a compact add-on board used to detect the strength of a magnetic field in all three dimensions. This board features the TMAG5170, a high-precision linear 3D Hall effect sensor from Texas Instruments. The TMAG5170 features an SPI interface for configuration by MCU. The measurement data is provided in digital format of 12-bits corresponding to the magnetic field measured in each X, Y, and Z axes. It can achieve ultra-high precision at speeds up to 20kSPS for faster and more accurate real-time control and offers multiple diagnostics features to detect and report both system and device-level failures.
