Library Description

The library covers all the necessary functions to control Force 2 click board.

Key functions:

  • force2_adc_set_in_channel( ); - Function sets input channel.
  • force2_adc_init( ); - Function initializes ADC.
  • force2_adc_read( ); - Function reads ADC values.

Examples description

The application is composed of three sections :

  • System Initialization - Initializes GPIO and LOG structures, set AN pin as input.
  • Application Initialization - Initalizes ADC driver, sets ADC channel and makes an initial log.
  • Application Task - (code snippet) This is an example that shows the capabilities of the Force 2 click by taking measurements from the device and displaying it via USART terminal.
void application_task ( )
{
    adc_val = force2_adc_read( );
    disp_val = force2_val_conv( adc_val, 4095, 15, 0 );

    ByteToStr( disp_val, log_txt );
    Ltrim( log_txt );
    mikrobus_logWrite( "Force: ", _LOG_TEXT );
    mikrobus_logWrite( log_txt, _LOG_TEXT );
    mikrobus_logWrite( "N", _LOG_LINE );

    mikrobus_logWrite( "-------------------", _LOG_LINE );
    Delay_ms( 500 );
}

  • force2_val_conv ( uint32_t x, uint32_t in_max, uint32_t out_min, uint32_t out_max ) - re-maps ADC value to force value in newton.
  • force2_adc_set_in_channel( ); - Function sets input channel.
  • force2_adc_init( ); - Function initializes ADC.
  • force2_adc_read( ); - Function reads ADC values.

Smart Card 2 Click is a compact add-on board for reading smart cards. This board features Microchip’s SEC1210, a low-power single-chip Smart Card controller with a UART interface. The SEC1210 bridge controller uses a combination of hardware and software to deliver high-performance and flexible design customization options. It is fully compliant with standards like ISO/IEC 7816, EMV 4.2/4.3, ETSI TS 102 221, and PC/SC, utilizing TrustSpan™ technology that enables digital systems to communicate securely, process, move and store information. With its onboard card holder, it supports data processing with 2FF smart cards, and with an additional connector for external connection, it also allows the processing of a standard 1FF card.

Ambient 22 Click

0

Ambient 22 Click is a compact add-on board that measures the intensity of visible light. This board features the OPT3005, a single-chip lux meter from Texas Instruments that transforms light intensity to a digital signal output that can be directly communicated via an I2C interface. The sensor's spectral response tightly matches the human eye's photopic response along with extreme rejection to 850nm and 940nm infrared light over a wide angle of incidence. Measurements can be made from 20mlux up to 166klux without manually selecting full-scale ranges using the built-in, full-scale setting feature.
