MikroElektronika makes an interrupt timer calculator that makes it easy to create new interrupts with a PIC24 microcontroller. It also works with PIC16, PIC18, dsPIC33, and PIC32 MCU.
The calculator has a GUI that generates a mikroC / mikroBasic/ MikroPascal code example based upon your input. You start by setting the timer, clock frequency in MHz, and interrupt time and press the "calculate" button.
