RS232 3 Click is a compact add-on board representing a universal usable RS232 transceiver. This board features the SP3221E, a low-power RS232 transceiver from MaxLinear. The SP3221E uses an internal high-efficiency, charge-pump power supply and is compliant with EIA/TIA-232-F standards when powered by any of the mikroBUS™ power rails. The AUTO ON-LINE® feature allows the SP3221E to automatically Wake-Up from a Shutdown state when an RS232 cable is connected and a peripheral device is turned on. When not connected or not in use, the SP3221E will automatically shut down, drawing less supply current.

This board features the MCP251863, IC representing a compact solution with a controller and a transceiver in one package, the MCP2518FD and ATA6563 from Microchip. Description

RS232 to I2C Click is a compact add-on board representing a universal usable RS232 to I2C converter. This board features the ZDU0110RFX, a bridge between a UART port and an I2C bus from Zilog, which at the same time represents the connection between the MCU and the RS232 line driver and receiver, the MAX3232. The ZDU0110RFX provides full-duplex asynchronous communications with a 128 byte FIFO buffer, of which 64 bytes each are allocated to receive and transmit operations. It also contains a 4kbit EEPROM and GPIO with programmable interrupt capability; programmable interrupts and interrupt lines for UART and GPIO notifications.

USB to I2C 2 Click is a compact add-on board that contains a general-purpose USB to I2C serial interface. This board features the FT201X, a full-speed USB to I2C protocol converter from FTDI. The FT201X converts USB2.0 full-speed to an I2C serial interface capable of operating up to 3.4MBit/s, with low power consumption (typical 8mA). I2C MUX 7 Click is a compact add-on board representing a bidirectional selector dedicated to applications with I2C slave address conflicts. This board features the PI4MSD5V9547, an octal bidirectional translating multiplexer controlled by the I2C-bus from Texas Instruments. Only one SCL/SDA channel can be selected at a time, determined by the contents of the programmable control register.
